Racing tyre windfall + engineering stuff

Bit of a bargain today from a fellow Triumph man , George Cameron who competes in a very rapid TR7V8. He likes to use about the first third of the tyre (the stickiest bit) which is my gain as I now have 4 sets of 225/50 x 15 Bridgestones and Toyos with mostly about the level of wear that I put on in a couple of days at Wanneroo - all for just more than the cost of disposal. What a nice bloke!!! Ran out of room in my 2500!

Georges TR7 V8 - 5.2 litres!!
I was actually seeing George about him machining me some Triumph UJ flanges to utilise Datsun UJ's instead of Tri-Dats. It seems like a easy operation for his multiple CNC machines. He is also going to help me build a 40mmTorque Plate for honing the six pot bores.
