PI Estate comes home
Quick post to highlight the bit of Britax roof I'm after - The PI estate made it home today - a night out in the cold and then into the shed tomorrow - lots of work to go but the end is in sight
I need a "cover" to this lever which sits over and under covering up the rivets and locating the pivoting handle better
Just realised one of the floor rubbers is out of line - crap

Dodgy polybushes - but a good mod
Bought these from Witor (new on the left- modded Avon Metalastic original on the right) and he did say that he didn't give any warranty as they weren't made to his spec.
Turns out the 7/16" (11.1mm) hole is actually 12.3mm - which is good for nothing metric or imperial. Bit silly really - they are meant to improve location not rattle around. Ended up drilling it out to 1/2" and will find some suitable grade 8 bolts to fit - will actually be stronger in the end.

Mt Clarence Hillclimb June 2012
Dick Wards rotary engined spaceframed Abarth 500 I think it got FTD at about 30secs - hear it here....

At the top of the hill - my best time was 35.62 secs - best last year was 37.18secs so those extra 20 odd horses released from the GT seem to have worked
Natty little Alfa tucked away in the car park View from the pub after a long day - King George Sound in the background
